Studio Environment…

AOM offers a New York City professional approach to taking class.  We cater to dancer’s needs based upon when they are free to take class by offering drop-in classes every day of the week, as well as, commitment for semester, summer intensive and year-long programs.

AOM offers multiple performances during the year. We do not focus on one recital piece from semester’s start to end.  We focus on technique, growth and exploration of dance as an art form within each class. 

AOM faculty consists of distinguished dancers, performers, singers and actors within the performing arts industry. Each teacher is highly qualified and experienced in the field of teaching the arts to others.

AOM offers “10 Class Cards” for $150.00 and “20 Class Cards” for $300.00. These cards get “punched” every time you take class. One of the many benefits of this card is the flexibility of usage. The cards can be used for any class and at any time and will never expire. Also, a 10/20 Class Card can be used by any family member of the card owner.

Location, location, location…

Art of Motion is located in the heart of Ridgewood, NJ.  Accessible parking allows for easy drop off and pick up schedules. 

AOM is located one block away from the Ridgewood train and bus station. Our proximity to to both the bus and train stations allow New York City guest artists to frequently teach a master class.

AOM is a non-profit educational and cultural organization dedicated to giving back to our community.  Excellent performance opportunities within our community are available for performers numerous times throughout the year.
